FGM, Female Genital Mutilation is religious, cultural, social, non-medical procedure practiced mainly in Africa and Asia. Nearly 140 million women and girls are living with the result of FGM. It involves removing all or part of the female genitalia, for all types of reasons which all overwhelming point to the sexual inequities between women and me.
