Each Sunday the Sweet Potato Pie Project highlights an organization, website, or blog that is moving toward global awareness, justice, and social change.
This week's "Sunday's Best" is Dropping Knowledge.
The concept takes the idea of questioning the status quo to another level. You pose the question and start the dialogue with yourself and people all over the world about their thoughts on the subject and the possible solutions.
Some of the questions on this sight that really moved me toward reflection are:
1. Can dancing change the world?
2. Can ordinary people really change government?
3. What does the future look like?
4. When do you feel most alive?
5. If we can produce enough food to feed everyone in the world, why don't we?
6. Do animals have souls?
7. Is it murder to kill a murderer?
8. Are religion and power too closely linked?
9. What if peace on earth really began with you?
10. Why do we dream?
Check out www.droppingknowledge.org and drop some knowledge of your own. The images are just as compelling as the text. Asking the tough questions is really the first step to social change.
